e-BRIDGE Document Library is a server (or host) based document management application designed to integrate with Toshiba MFD scanningfunctionality and e-BRIDGE Re-Rite OCR. It provides an organization with an environment for storing their paper or file based information in a centralized database. Later retrieval using a web based search tool enables users to view, email, print or fax documents from their desktop.
Documents of virtually any type can be imported into e-BRIDGE Document Library for future retrieval.
Each license supports:-
Connection of up to 10 MFD’s
100 concurrent user search connections
Varying levels of user access to features and documents.

e-BRIDGE Document Library comes packed with six pre-defined filing cabinets, customized to suit industry specific document management needs:

Each of these pre-defined filing cabinets can be tailored further for the client using the built in administration tools.
There are several modules in this application:- 1) MFD Web Interface
This module provides a user interface for the MFD 2) Capture
This module captures scanned images and metadata from the MFD then indexes this information to the built-in database 3) Administration
This module allows an administrator access to configuring and managing the software, MFD settings and the user accounts 4) Search
This module provides a web based environment for user retrieval of the documents. 5) Database
The application comes standard with an Access database capable of storing and retrieving up to 400,000 documents.
In addition, two (2) options are also available with the software:- a) Capture File
Imports existing stored data into the e-BRIDGE Document Library database b) Outlook Integration
Indexes data from Microsoft Outlook email client directly into the e-BRIDGE Document Library database
e-BRIDGE Re-Rite is the OCR component for all scanned documents and provides e-BRIDGE Document Library with content searchable PDF documents for more general retrieval by the user when specific indexing information may not be known during the search.
